Laura attained her Medical Degree from the University of Southampton in the UK.  After working in the UK she moved to New Zealand, fell in love with the country and decided to stay forever (rather than the 9 months originally intended!).  She has undergone medical attachments from Auckland to Invercargill and completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology gaining her Fellowship to RANZCOG (The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists).

Dr Laura  realised a passion and skill for ‘Fertility Medicine’  and Minimal Access surgery and as such has undertaken further training and completed her Masters in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales and is completing her sub specialisation to obtain CREI (Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility- the highest training level for Fertility in Australasia) This training has resulted in extra experience in dealing with conditions such as ovarian cysts, endometriosis, PCOS, womb abnormalities and has also involved higher level training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures (see services page for more information on these procedures).

She also undertakes teaching in Fertility and Gynaecology for both under and post graduate Health Professionals.

In her spare time Laura is a keen horse rider, tennis player and a terribly slow runner.‍
