Mr Ahmed Alkadhi currently consults at Tristram Clinic and Pohlen Hospital (Matamata).

Previously at Waikato Hospital (2002 – 2017) where he was mostly involved in cleft lip and cleft palate surgery, which took a big chunk of his operating theatre time. He was also involved in head and neck surgery and reconstruction, lower limb trauma, advanced surgery and also in breast reconstruction.

Mr Alkadhi is trained in microsurgery and free tissue transfer.

Through Tristram Clinic, he has a particular interest in rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery.

His workload at Tristram Clinic emphasizes his skill and experience in reconstructive skin cancer cases and melanoma, as well as cosmetic surgery.

Mr Alkadhi regularly attends medical meetings and conferences in New Zealand and overseas. He is in compliance with Royal Australasian College of Surgeons continuing professional development (CPD) programme.

He also takes part in Operation Restore Hope, which is a charity cleft lip and palate surgical mission that takes place annually in the Philippines.
